I was always a bit of a geek.

I'm not sure where it came from. There where probably several factors in my childhood that led to me rejecting conventional notions of what was cool and what wasn't - I certainly felt like I was playing with a different set of rules very early on. And even when I discovered the 'alternative scene' and the 'counter culture', in some ways it was a blessing, but in some ways it was just another set of rules and expectations I was never going to set into.
I never got along with cliques, and 'geeks' have some of the most stringent rules for joining I've ever encountered (except maybe... some others)...

ah fuck it I can't keep this up any longer.
What I really want to say is most of you are nerdier and/or geekier than me.
So you have NO excuse for not having watched Heroes season one yet. Finish watching it NOW and then go download the first episode of season two.

Goddamn you all I need to geek and plot and compare notes and I CAN'T because you haven't watched this show yet.

What is wrong with you?

Bah. I would just geek all over lj but my girlfriend would kill me dead deader than that character whose name I'm not saying.. yeah I'm not that stupid

oh yes, tonight was lots of fun.

Oh man I was going to leave a comment about how sometimes you think from an early age that you don't fit in so you opt out so you don't have to deal with why. And sometimes at 12 everyone turns against you so you have to opt out HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. But then it was a thinly veiled advert for Heroes. And I have not watched it because I am so very cool now. Oh yes. You can't hurt me now Anna Iacono!

heh, I could write a fairly long and involved piece along those lines, but I didn't have the energy to sustain it. I just want to geek and drool with like-minded folk.

Gah i wish my Internet worked at home :( I have been watching Series 1 on TV so far :) and i am sooooo hooked! But now i have a friend burning me all of Series 1 onto CD which I shall get at the weekend, yay, so i wont have to wait a week between episodes :)

I bet i will be annoyed at the end of the series though, i've heard it is a huuuuuge cliff hanger :S I'll have to get him to put the first one from Series 2 on there too or i might explode!

I like Hiro :) he is my favourite character :) I think i would want that super power too :D although any of them would be pretty cool!

having to wait a week sucks, but I'm quite enjoying the sense of anticipation and build-up to each show at the moment. I just hope they don't stick another season break in...

I'm not commenting on this thread to say anything about the plot because I don't want to inadvertently spoil anything. Let me know what you think of the ending once you've seen it :-)
